By commissioning the artist you agree to the following:1. The artist reserves the right to maintain ownership of the work. This includes posting the work on social media platforms, portfolios, collections, and other public-facing mediums. You may post the work online or offline, so long as the artist is named and credited.2. Commissions containing creative properties belonging to you will be credited by the artist if posted on social media platforms, portfolios, collections, and other public-facing mediums.3. The product will be for personal use. If you would like to use the work for commercial work, please contact the artist and set up terms for commercial use.4. You agree to make no more than two payments to the artist for the quoted price of [Price Of Commission] over the payment service agreed upon by both parties. One payment is due upon agreement of the terms of service, totaling no less than 50% of the quoted price by the artist, or [50% of Price of Commission]. A second payment is due upon completion of the outline or draft of your commission for the remainder of the quoted price. The artist retains the right to not finish your commission until the quoted price is paid in full.
4a. You may choose to pay the entire quoted price upon agreement of the terms of service. If you choose to do so, you will not be charged for a second payment.5. Major changes to an approved outline or draft will be charged appropriately and due upon completion of the commission. Any changes to a finished commission will also be charged appropriated and due upon completion of the changes.6. If the artist does not contact you within fifteen (15) working days about the status of your commission, you are allowed to contact them regarding the status of your commission.7. Failure to provide payments may result in you not receiving your commission and therefore terminating any ownership you may retain over the commission, and gives the artist the right to turn down the commission. This includes any additional charges accrued up until completion of the commission. The artist is entitled to keeping any payments made up until this point and does not offer refunds or cancellations under any circumstances.
7a. If the artist fails to complete the commission in six (6) months, you are entitled to a full refund of all payments made, including charges for alterations.
